Entertainment icons like popular Fuji musician Saheed Osupa, Nollywood veteran, Dele Odule and another Fuji music star Sefiu Alao have settled the lingering rift between a popular Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1, and a prominent broadcaster, Wole Sorunke is also known as MC Murphy over an allegedly assaulted by Ayinde last week.
In a meeting reportedly facilitated by top celebrity journalists, Mayor Akinpelu, veteran actor, Dele Odule, and Hon Biodun Akinlade among other top government functionaries the issue has been amicably resolved.
At the meeting that was held at the palace of Olu Itori in Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State, Wasiu Ayinde was reportedly said to have taken responsibility for his actions.
According to the National Chairman of Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBAN), Desmond Nwachukwu, who was at the meeting, K1 “humbled himself; stated his side of the story and took responsibility for the actions of his boys at the meeting.
According to him, the prominent Fuji musician apologized to MC Murphy and FIBAN, saying, “By his assurance that nothing of such will happen around him ever again, a cordial relationship between us seem to have been birthed.”
It will be recalled that the MC Murphy had accused Wasiu Ayinde and his boys of beating him up at the 60th birthday party of the Olu of Itori, Oba Fatai Akamo recently.
According to reports, the duo met at the event, where K1 is the guest musician of the day and MC Murphy the compère of the day respectively.
Thereafter, MC Murphy alleged that the K1 through some of his boys assaulted him. Meanwhile, the ripples from the allegation have generated mixed-reactions from people with diverse opinions and actions.
